This 8 days South Sudan Culture & Uganda wildlife Tour is a perfect adventure for amazing cultures of South Sudan and Uganda’s top wildlife safari. This Tour starts from Juba City, join the Mundari community, crossing to Uganda’s biggest National Park, Murchison falls national park, with big game safaris as well as get to see one of the world’s most powerful waterfall where the park derives its name.
TOUR DETAILS
Day 1: Arrive in Juba
On Arrival at the airport, meet your driver guide and transfer to your hotel in Juba town where you will spend the night. Depending on your time of arrival Change some money and visit the market area and old Juba town. Dinner in local restaurant and Overnight Hotel.
Day 2: Drive from Juba to Mundari
After Breakfast, you will drive to the Mundari community which is one of the most amazing tribes of South Sudan. It is a 4 -5 hour journey that exposes you to sights of the magnificent countryside of South Sudan. Arrival is in the evening for setting up the tents, dinner and overnight.
Day 3: Mundari cattle camp
After Breakfast, visit the Mundari cattle camp, to experience the rare cattle rearing styles of the Mundari. The Mundari are very welcoming and hospitable. Here you will take beautiful photos, have cultural encounters with the people of Mundari tribe. You will dine on the local delicacies if you wish as you wait in the evening for the magical sunset photos at the cattle camp.
Day 4: Drive Back to Juba
After Breakfast, drive back to Juba town, for another 4 – 5 hour journey enjoying the beautiful scenery along the way. drive back to juba town in the evening for dinner and overnight at your hotel
Day 5: Drive to Gulu in Uganda
After Breakfast, start your journey to Gulu Town. You will cross the South Sudan boarder to enter Uganda the pearl of Africa After Clearing with the Immigrations. On Arrival in Gulu city this evening checking into the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 6: Drive to Murchison Falls National Park
Early morning after breakfast, transfer to Murchison Falls national park, this is Uganda’s largest national park with more than 70 mammal species calling it a home. The park is also home to the early stages of the Nile River which is Africa’s longest river. Arrival in the evening, with numerous stopovers
Day 7: Game drive and boat cruise on the Nile
After an early morning breakfast head for a game drive in Murchison falls national park to get exposed to numerous wildlife species just at the start of the drive. You will spot the warthogs, elephants, lions, buffaloes, duikers, waterbucks, hyenas, and many others. Return to the lodge for lunch and afternoon boat cruise on the Nile. The cruise gives you a chance to spot the devil’s cauldron where huge sums of water squeeze up in a seven-meter gorge to form a rainbow. Later return to the lodge for dinner and overnight
Day 8: Transfer to the airport
After an early morning breakfast head, transfer to the airport to catch up your flight back home.
